Refund & cancellation policy

ShaadiCardWala lets you design and preview wedding invitation cards for free. You pay only to unlock a finished card for download and sharing — ₹51 per card, shown before you pay. This page explains when that payment can be cancelled or refunded.

What you are buying

Each payment unlocks one digital invitation card (an image or a video) inside the app. It is a digital product delivered instantly: nothing is shipped, and the unlocked card is yours to download and share as many times as you like. You can keep editing it after it is unlocked.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time before you pay — closing the payment screen cancels the purchase and nothing is charged. Because a card is unlocked the moment the payment is confirmed, a completed purchase can’t be cancelled afterwards, but the cases below are refunded in full.

When we refund you in full

• You were charged but the card didn’t unlock, and we can’t fix it for you.
• You were charged twice for the same card.
• The card won’t download or play because of a fault on our side that we can’t fix within 3 working days of you reporting it.
• Money left your account but the payment failed. Razorpay usually returns this automatically; if it hasn’t arrived within 7 working days, write to us.

Please ask within 7 days of the payment.

When we can’t refund

• You changed your mind after a card was unlocked and downloaded.
• There is a mistake in the names, dates or venue you typed — you can fix these yourself in the app at no extra cost, and share the corrected card again.
• An event was postponed or cancelled — edit the card and send the new details for free.

How to ask for a refund

Write to hello@shaadicardwala.com with:

• the email address or phone number you sign in with,
• the Razorpay payment ID (it starts with pay_ and is on your payment receipt or SMS), and
• a short description of the problem, with a screenshot if you can.

We reply within one working day and tell you whether the refund is approved.

How long it takes

Approved refunds are issued through Razorpay to the original payment method — the same card, UPI account or wallet you paid with. They normally reach you in 5–7 working days after approval, depending on your bank.
